This is for consideration for future job opportunities at our Help Desk, which is a terrific, entry-level role within our IT department.

The Help Desk Analyst provides first level support for POS stores (Canada & US) and head office systems related issues including software and hardware support.  We are looking for an excellent communicator with a service-approach who is tech savvy and has demonstrated success in supporting customers over the phone.

Qualifications:

 Education:

  • College Diploma in technology related field preferred

 Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in supporting customers over the phone
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Retail experience, preferably with a Point-of-Sale system (POS)  is an asset

 Unique Skills:

  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and concise written communication skills
  • Computer literate and general aptitude for learning new proprietary and commercial software programs
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential

 This role can include some evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

 Selected candidates will participate in testing that will confirm proficiency in the above skills.
